Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before availing of any services from Dirterminator House Wash (the "Service Provider", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the services provided by Dirterminator House Wash you (the “customer” or “client”) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the services.
1. Service Agreement:
i) The service provided by Dirterminator House Wash includes house washing, exterior cleaning, and related services as agreed upon with the client. Any additional work required or requested by you will result in additional charges.
ii) The client agrees to provide accurate information regarding the service selected, including any specific requirements or areas of concern.
iii) Any changes or inaccuracies regarding quantities, measurements, specifications, or service scope after the acceptance of a quote or online booking confirmation will be treated as a modification to our initially agreed-upon price.
iv) During the soft wash process for all services, the service provider may utilise the customer's water supply as necessary to ensure efficient and effective cleaning.
v) Any expenses incurred for water usage during soft washing shall remain the responsibility of the client and shall not be transferred to the service provider.
2. Pricing:
i) The quote provided is an estimate based on the scope of work described. We reserve the right to revise the quote if inaccurate information is provided or if there are changes to the scope of work or additional work is required.
ii) Prices shown are GST inclusive unless otherwise stated.
iii) Additional travel charges will incur when travel exceeds 50km. The client will be informed of this prior to confirming their booking. We do not service customers residing on Waiheke Island.
3. Payment:
i) Payment for services is due within 7 days of completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to commencement.
ii) If payment is not made in a timely manner, we reserve the right to charge late fees and/or pursue legal action.
4. Cancellation:
i) If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked service, we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours' notice.
ii) If you fail to provide us with notice or if we arrive at the job site and are unable to complete the work (i.e access issues), we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of $150 plus G.S.T.
5. Liability:
We carry liability insurance to protect our business and our clients in case of accidents or damages. However, we cannot be held responsible for any damages or injuries that occur on your property due to the following factors:
i) Factors beyond our control, such as natural disasters or pre-existing structural issues.
ii) Water ingress
iii) Electrical fixtures that lack watertightness or have not been installed correctly.
iv) Clients’ failure to comply with “Preparing for Soft Washing Guide” documentation. (Appendix A)
6. Safety:
Our team takes safety seriously and adheres to all safety regulations and guidelines. However, we ask that you also take safety precautions and keep children and pets away from the work area while we are performing services.
7. Usage of Photos from Jobs:
i) Dirterminator House Wash reserves the right to use photographs taken before, during, and after service provision for marketing, promotional, or educational purposes, unless otherwise specified by the client in writing.
ii) Clients grant Dirterminator House Wash a non-exclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable license to use such photographs in various media formats, including but not limited to websites, social media, advertisements, and printed materials.
iii) Dirterminator House Wash agrees not to disclose any sensitive or personally identifiable information in the photographs without the client's explicit consent.
iv) Clients retain ownership of their property's images and may request in writing to exclude specific photographs from promotional use.
v) Dirterminator House Wash agrees to promptly comply with any such requests to exclude specific photographs from promotional materials.

Appendix A - Preparing for Soft Washing Guide
Thank you for choosing Dirterminator House Wash for your exterior property clean.
Prior to your scheduled service, we kindly ask you to read the following instructions to ensure your home is prepared and to prevent any delays or damage.

Clear any obstacles or objects near the exterior of your home including outdoor furniture, decorations, toys, and potted plants to allow for easy access.

Close all windows and doors. Water ingress for house soft wash is uncommon as soft washing uses low pressure. However, it can occur in houses with old timber window framing. We suggest you use old towels/rags to seal windows to prevent damage.

Remove any washing on lines.

Remove shoes by doors.

Ensure no persons are outdoors around the house whilst the wash is taking place.

Keep pets indoors.

Turn off outdoor electrical outlets.

Clear parked vehicles from the premises.

If there are specific areas of concern or special instructions regarding your property, please communicate them to our team before the scheduled wash date.
